FICUNAM“Trying to encourage and to recognize the production of innovative international films, the UNAM Internacional Film Festival presents its International Feature-Film Competition as part of the program of its 2013 edition.
This section acts as an exhibition platform for fiction, documentary, and hybrid film pieces made by directors with less than three productions in their filmography; films that show the awakening of youthful rebellion and emotions, the decadence of stars, crimes, social effervescence, and the complicated nature of human relations, among other subjects.
An international panel of jurors will award the Silver Puma Award for Best Film and Best Director (100,000 pesos M.N., each). Also, the audience will vote for an Audience Award.
